PS + KM: Phil S. and Katie M.
PS + KM: October 2015
KM: I was a Division I collegiate swimmer, but never felt very confident with my “dryland” exercise ability until I came to EPIC
PS: I wasn’t a member of any gym until one of my dumb friends signed me up for a Tough Mudder charity run and I started doing EPIC to not finish last
PS + KM: The Grynd
PS + KM: We met in college and have been together 11 years, lived together in NYC for 10 and married for 2. We normally can be found partnering together – but occasionally fly solo when Phil travels for work or Katie needs a break from Phil. The couple that EPICs together, stays together?
KM: Being able to traverse all the way across the monkey bars and being able to Snatch – snatches were my nemesis for about 2 years.
PS: Remember the time I won half a member of the month award? More seriously…traversing bars, swinging on rings, climbing ropes, and doing all the fun things I couldn’t do at all when I first started.

“Leslie is an east coast transplant from the suburbs of Washington DC and she discovered her passion for fitness in her mid 20s. Since then, she has become a fitness instructor and has loved inspiring others to put in the work to grow stronger physically and mentally. Her favorite thing about EPIC is that on top of a kickass workout that builds strength and endurance for all levels of fitness, the community is there to support one another, from high fives to keeping you accountable to fun challenges to obstacle course races.
Leslie loves sweat dates b/c working out is so much better with friends. When she isn’t working out, you can find her playing with her dogs, coding behind a computer or perhaps painting it out to some jams.”

Allison spent her childhood as a gymnast, but didn’t develop a passion for fitness until college when she suddenly needed to find a hobby while her friends were at sports practice. Since then she’s discovered a love of high-intensity workouts, so it was love at first sweat when she took her first Epic class. When Allison’s not coaching you can find her taking class – she’ll be the one with the reddest face.

A NASM certified personal trainer and former collegiate track athlete, Kayleigh believes in the power of encouragement and community and enjoys being the ultimate hype-woman! Her favorite thing about EPIC is that there are no mirrors because it encourages everyone to really tap in to how they feel rather than how they look in the mirror.
